A question of peace
Note to self
Someone asked Mother Teresa what we could do to promote world peace. Her answer surprised me.
“Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of peace of the world... What can you do to promote world peace? Go home and love your family.”
A woman who spent her life in the worst of human suffering, and her answer to the world’s disorder was: your family is waiting.
